Accepting the Challenge

As I sit here tonight thinking back to whenever God first spoke to me about beginning to write His word, I wish I could remember the exact date of when I received that word and accepted His challenge. I know that Book #1 started with the date Sept 5, 2012. That is not the date when I received this word, but rather whenever I first stepped into it. I would love to say that I have embraced this journey, but I have faced one opposition after another in pursuing this God-given challenge. I do have a general idea of when it was and where I was at in my walk with the LORD. I have had a lot of life happen between that time and now. WOW!

As I enter into a new season of life and with a greater, deeper love for the LORD, this is becoming less of a challenge and more of a passion. The word is changing me, as I had hoped. I expect more as I am taken from faith to faith and from glory to glory, in obedience to my Heavenly Father.

Deuteronomy 17:18-20 "Also it shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write for himself a copy of this law in a book, from the one before the priests the Levites. 19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the LORD his God and be careful to observe all the words of this law and these statutes. 20 that his heart may not be lifted above his brethren, that he may not turn aside from the commandment to the right hand or to the left, and that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children in the midst of Israel."
